how's it going. i've been searching all over the internet and have found nothing as of yet. i came across this site and thought you might have some knowledge, or of somebody who does. i've been wanting to find a way to create my own items/npc's in baldur's gate 1or2. or just modify existing ones to what i want them to do. i assume it wouldn't be too hard, maybe find a file for items and change them. anyways, please respond

As far as i know, everything in BGII (and i'm assuming BG as well) is hard-coded into the game, so it's not just a case of finding the right file and changing a 1 to a 0. BG uses a completely different engine to NWN, and i don't think its possible without basically extracting the source code and modifying that, which is illegal. I may be wrong though, so try the game hack sites if you're desperate.
